Itinerary

Day 1

  • Arrival at Tbilisi International Airport
  • Meeting and transfer to the hotel (30 minute drive)
  • check in to the hotel in Tbilisi(check in until 15:00 pm. is upon availability)
  • Free time
  • 19:00 pm. Dinner at the restaurant
  • Overnight

Day 2

  • 09:00 am. Breakfast at the hotel
  • 10:00 am. Excursion to Old Tbilisi (duration of excursion, mostly walking 2 -3 hours)
  • Highlights of touristic rout and stories about history and modern life in Tbilisi:
  • Metekhi temple-The heroic King Vakhtang Gorgasali commissioned the building of the inscribed-the monument in the 5th century. It is dramatically located on the cliff overlooking the Mtkvari River.
  • Narikala Fortress - old ruins of Narikala fortress, enjoy the panorama of the city;
  • Chardin Street is one of the oldest streets of Tbilisi. Now this is a favorite meeting place for its fancy cafes and clubs, little art salons and galleries. The street got this name in honor of the famous French artist, Jean- Baptiste -Simeon Chardin.
  • Old Baths -A touch of Old Tbilisi -- the Sulfur Baths, built in 17th century, have subterranean pavilions topped by unique the red brick domes with steam from the hot springs streaming from their tops, giving a magical atmosphere to this historic area of old homes and interesting shops.
  • The Bridge of Peace is a bow-shaped pedestrian bridge over the Mtkvari River in Tbilisi, capital of Georgia.
  • 14:00 pm. Free time on Rustaveli avenue for shopping

Day 3

  • 09:00 am. breakfast at the hotel
  • 12:00 am. check out and transfer to Lopota Lake Resort (2 hour drive)
  • 15:00 pm. check in to the hotel
  • Lunch and dinner at the resort

  • Lopota Lake Resort located in Kakheti region, near the city of Telavi. Lake Lopota is a beautiful, picturesque, and well managed resort that caters for all the customer’s needs. At the lake they offer guests a wide range of entertainments and activities including: fishing, cycling and horse riding amongst others. The lake is also in a privileged location of great natural beauty.

Day 4

  • 09:00 am. Breakfast at the resort
  • 10:00 am. Excursion to wine tunnel where guests are welcome to participate in Georgian bread baking and traditional sweet-Churchlkhela making (Duration 4 hours)
  • Lunch and dinner at the resort
  • Overnight;

Day 5

  • 09:00 am. breakfast at the hotel
  • 11:00 am. check out and transfer to Borjomi Spa Resort ( 4 hour drive)
  • 15:00 pm. check in to the Rixos hotel in Borjomi;
  • 16:00 pm.  visit Borjomi Park
  • Overnight
  •  Borjomi is a resort town in south-central Georgia and is situated in the northwestern part of the region in the picturesque Borjomi Gorge on the eastern edge of the National Park. The town is known as  famous spa and mineral water resort. Due to this fact and special claiment it is very popular for family holidays.
  • Suggestions for extra cost offering the hotel:
  • Hotel spa and treatment procedures with mineral waters from artesian springs, believed to have many health benefits.

Day 6

  • 09:00 am. breakfast at the hotel
  • 10:00 am. Excursion to Rabati fortress-(1 hour drive from Borjomi) - built in the 13th century was developed under the influence of different cultures over subsequent centuries and this is reflected in its architecture. Within the 7 hectares castle complex there is a Church, a Mosque, a Minaret and Synagogue
  • 14:30 pm. transfer back to Borjomi
  • Free time
  • Overnight

Day 7

  • Breakfast at the hotel
  • Check out and transfer to the airport (2 hours and 30 minute drive);
  • Departure
