Itinerary

Day Wise Tour Itinerary:

Day 1 (28 Dec): Arrival to Tbilisi

After arrival in Tbilisi International Airport, once you collect all your luggage and go to "Arrivals" Section of the Airport, our "Airport Representative" will meet you in the Airport holding a board with our Company Logo and your Name written on it. She or He will escort you to the vehicle and will take you to your hotel to Check-in to your room and rest for a day to get over the jetlag and gather strength until beginning your adventure. 

Day 2 (29 Dec) :  Armenia - Sevan and Yerevan Tour

After  Breakfast in your hotel in Tbilisi you will check-out from your room, meet your Driver and Guide in your hotel lobby and depart from Georgia, Tbilisi to Armenia. After our stops on both country borders, our first stop will be in Dilijan, Getap restaurant lunch for one hour. Then our next stop will be in the lake Sevan and Sevanavank - a monastic complex dated back to 874 A.D. The two churches of the complex, Surp Arakelots meaning the "Holy Apostles" and Surp Astvatsatsin meaning the "Holy Mother of God". Both are quite similar in appearance. Lake Sevan is the largest body of water in Armenia and the Caucasus region. It is one of the largest freshwater high-altitude lakes in Eurasia. The lake is situated in Gegharkunik Province, at an altitude of 1,900 meters above sea level. The total surface area of its basin is about 5,000 km2.

After the views of mesmerizing lake Sevan, we will continue our way to Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia. In the evening we will start our Yerevan city tour. One of the most ancient cities in the world, according to historical studies, Yerevan is older than Rome and Athens, and its history is 2800 years old. Visiting Mother Armenia and the victory Park, Cascade Complex then, we will walk through Opera and Ballet house, Northern Avenue and our last stop will be Republic Square with its unique architecture and singing fountains. After the busy day you we will go to your hotel in Yerevan, check-in to your room and have a rest for the following day.

Day 3  (30 Dec) :  Armenia - Visit Garni, Geghard & Tsakhkadzor

After breakfast in your hotel in Yerevan you will meet your driver and guide in your hotel lobby. The tour starts with Garni Pagan temple. The temple dedicated to the Armenian sun god Mihr. Built in the middle of the 1st century CE, the Temple of Garni remarkably survived the destruction of pagan temples following Armenia's conversion to Christianity in the 4th century CE,

Afterwards we will continue tour to the Geghard Monastery. Geghard (Armenian: "the spear") is a medieval monastery located in Armenia’s Kotayk province, Geghard is renown throughout Armenia for its medieval art and architecture, and local traditions associate the site with Saint Gregory the Illuminator (c. 257 – c. 331 CE) who came to the area to found a small Christian chapel in the 4th century CE. Geghard’s name attests to the former presence of a spear that supposedly pierced the body of Jesus Christ while he was crucified.

After Geghard monastery we will continue our tour to Tsaghkadzor which means the ''Gorge of Flowers''. Tsaghkadzor Ski Resort, is a sports and tourists facilities located just above the Armenian town of Tsaghkadzor of Kotayk Province, it was opened in 1986 adjacent to the Tsaghkadzor Olympic Sports Complex. Alongside the winter sports, here you can enjoy a cable car and get a fantastic view of Beautify Armenian nature.

After enjoying the Ski resort, we will drive back to your hotel in Yerevan.

Day 4 (31 Dec):  Yerevan – Tbilisi Road Trip | Armenia - Georgia

Next morning, after having a breakfast in your hotel in Yerevan, you will check-out from your room, before meeting your Driver and Guide in the hotel lobby and starting a 6 hour long road trip from Tbilisi to Yerevan.

Going from Yerevan you will drive besides lake Sevan, pass through the tunnel leading to Dilijan Prvovince, and in about 4 Hours you will reach “Sadaklho” border check point between Georgia and Armenia. After you go through the visa procedures and cross the International Border you will continue your way, reaching Capital City of Georgia – Tbilisi in about 6 hours after leaving Yerevan.

After reaching the city, you will be taken to your hotel in Tbilisi and check-in to your room, the guide and driver will leave you so that everyone can take a rest from a long journey and gather the strength for the Evening Dinner for New Year’s Eve in a Traditional Georgian Restaurant, folk show and cuisine.

Day 5 (01 Jan): Tbilisi Tour

On the Following day after you have breakfast in your hotel you will meet the Driver and Guide in your hotel lobby and you will start a Tour. The first place to visit will be a Holy Trinity cathedral, one of the largest orthodox cathedrals in the world. Tour continues to Metekhi church and the monument to King Vakhtang Gorgasali, the legendary founder of Tbilisi. Walk down to the Rike Park and Cross the Peace Bridge. Take cable car from Rike Park to Narikala Fortress to enjoy breathtaking panoramic view of the city and statue of Mother Georgia standing above the old Tbilisi. Walk down to the district of Sulphur baths passing by the only mosque in Tbilisi. Stroll through the Meidan Square, area full of narrow streets paved with cobble-stone and packed with cozy cafés, wine tasting bars, souvenir shops where you can breathe in the living past. Visit Sioni Cathedral, Anchiskhati Basilica, and the clock tower of famous Rezo Gabriadze Theatre. Passing the Freedom square you will continue your road to Rustaveli Avenue, where you can admire the local architectural monuments such as Building of Opera, Rustaveli Theater and “Filarmonia” concert hall, also first Gymnasium of Tbilisi and Kashueti Church before heading back to your hotel to spend a night and refresh for the following day.

Day 6 (02 Jan): Georgia - visit Ananuri and Gudauri

After  Breakfast in your hotel, you will meet the Driver and Guide in your hotel lobby, the route will take over the Georgian Military Highway up North, towards the border with Russia. Your first stop will be Jhinvali Water reservoir created during the soviet era, promptly continuing to Ananuri complex, a former residence of Argveti Dukes. The complex features churches and towers dating back to the 16-17th centuries, beautifully overlooking the Jhinvali reservoir. Continue your drive to see the conjunction of two small mountain rivers famous for the fact that being different in color they still keep their own colors even after merge. Continuing on the way you will have a chance to taste the mineral mountain springs in Mleta after which you will drive over the Cross Pass to Gudauri Ski Resort, where you can enjoy the Winter Sports or be more adventurous and experience Paragliding with local professionals.  Besides Snowboarding and Skiing you can also enjoy a ride with snow mobiles or just take a ski lift or cable car on mountain tops and enjoy the views of Caucasus mountains. The skir resort has multiple cafes and restaurants where you can have lunch, drink or just chill-out until evening.

By 5 PM in the evening ski resort is starting to close down and accordingly you will also head back to Tbilisi, driving around 2 hours and get back to your hotel to rest for the following day.

Day 7 (03 Jan): Departure from Tbilisi

Depending on your flight schedule you will have a breakfast in your hotel and Check-out From your hotel room, by 12:00 PM at Afternoon at the latest. You can Leave your Luggage in your Hotel Lobby and roam around the city, buy souvenirs or spend free time as you will. 3 Hours Early before your Departure Flight the Driver will arrive at your hotel lobby, you will collect your luggage and he will take you to the Airport for your Departure Flight.
