What is included in the tour

  • 3 nights at chosen 3/4/5 * hotel in Borjomi in standard double/triple room based on daily breakfast
  • 2 nights at chosen 3/4/5* hotel in Tbilisi in  1 standard double/triple room based on daily breakfast
  • All tours per itinerary
  • All transfers per itinerary excluding  free time
  • Guide assistance during the tour to Old Tbilisi, local guide assistance in Rabati Castle and Vardzia Cave Town
  • Entrance fees for Narikala Cable Car, Funicular train, Vardzia and Rabati Castle
  • Dinner at Georgian traditional restaurant

Itinerary

Day -1.

  • Arrival at Tbilisi international airport
  • Meeting and transfer to Borjomi Spa Resort (duration 2 hour and 30  minute)
  • Check in to the hotel in Borjomi (Check in before 14:00pm. is upon availability)
  • Free time
  • Overnight

Day 2.

  • 09:00 am. Breakfast at the hotel
  •  Free time
  • Overnight
  • Suggestion for free time(with extra cost): Visit Borjomi Park. Resort Borjomi, is also very famous for its  mineral water spas  and beautiful canyon, the famous Borjomi theme park is the best place for spending time  on the fresh air. This tour will gift you special  emotions.

Day-3.

  • 09:00am.Breakfast at the hotel
  • 10:00am.Transfer to Akhaltsikhe; (50 minute drive)
  • 10:50 am. Tour to Rabati Castle. Built in the 13th century, Rabati castle developed under the influence of different cultures over subsequent centuries and this is reflected in its architecture. Within the 7 hectares castle complex there is a Church, a Mosque, a Minaret and a Synagogue. (duration 2 hour)
  •  Lunch is available in the area of Rabati Castel for extra charge
  • 13:00pm. Transfer to Vardzia Cave Town. (duration 1 hour and 30 minute)
  • 14:30pm. Visit to Cave Town Monastery complex Vardzia. It  is an ancient residence of Glorious Queen Tamar and birthplace of ever greatest Georgian poet Shota Rustaveli(duration 2 hours)
  • 17:00pm. Transfer back to Borjomi
  • Overnight

Day-4.

  • 09:00am.Breakfast at the hotel
  • 11:30am.Check out from the hotel and transfer to Tbilisi(2 hour and 30 minute drive)
  • 14:00pm. Check in to the hotel
  • Free time
  • 16:00pm. Funicular trip on the holly mountain where the famous Mtatsminda theme park is located by electric train
  • Free time in the park for shooting the best panoramic photos of Tbilisi
  • 18:00pm. Back to the hotel
  • Overnight.

Day - 5.

  • .09:00am.Breakfast at the hotel
  • 10:00am. Excursion for Old Tbilisi tour ( duration 2 hours)

  • During the tour you will visit:

    Metekhi Church

    The heroic King Vakhtang Gorgasali commissioned the building of the inscribed-cross church in the 5th century. It is dramatically located on the cliff overlooking the Mtkvari River.

    Narikala  Fortress

    Cable car will take you to the top of mountain to the old ruins of Narikala  fortress, enjoy the panorama of the city;

    Chardin Street is one of the oldest streets of Tbilisi. Now this is a favorite meeting place for its fancy cafes and clubs, little art salons and galleries. The street got this name in honor of the famous French artist, Jean-Baptiste-Simeon Chardin.

    Old Baths

    A touch of Old Tbilisi -- the Sulfur Baths, built in 17th century, have subterranean pavilions topped by unique the red brick domes with steam from the hot springs streaming from their tops, giving a magical atmosphere to this historic area of old homes and interesting shops.

  • 12:00pm. Free time
  •  19:00pm. Dinner at Georgian traditional restaurant with folk show
  • Back to the hotel
  • Overnight

  • Suggestion for free time: Visit traditional bath houses and experience magic force of natural sulfurous water and Georgian massage 

Day 6

  • Breakfast at the hotel
  • Check out from the hotel
  • Transfer to the airport
  • Departure
