High in the Besparmak Mountains range are the ruins of the once magnificent 800 year old Bellapais Monastery, with spectacular views down to Kyrenia on the coast and across the northern plains. You’ll have free time for lunch in the harbour town of Kyrenia, where the castle at the end of the harbour walls is well worth a visit.
